Job summary

Red River Commodities is seeking a Grain Mill Operator in Fargo, ND to operate milling equipment used on sunflower seeds and other grains. You will set up, run, and monitor milling lines, ensuring safety and product quality from start to finish.

This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. It follows a 2nd shift schedule (Mon-Thu, 5:00pm–3:00am) with competitive pay and benefits including on-demand pay, PTO, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Experience operating milling equipment in grain or food processing is preferred.
• Ability to learn and troubleshoot milling machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
• Basic math skills for monitoring production metrics.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
• Capability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor grain milling equipment to process sunflower seeds and other grains.
• Adjust machine settings (grind size, speed) per product specs and production needs.
• Oversee cleaning equipment to remove impurities before milling.
• Maintain sanitation and safety guidelines in the work area.
• Perform routine checks, calibrations, and preventative maintenance.
• Document production data and report deviations to supervisor.
• Ensure proper storage of processed grains to prevent contamination.
