Job summary

Red River Commodities is seeking a Production Manager to lead our sunflower seeds and specialty grains operations in Fargo, ND. You will oversee daily schedules, drive efficiency, and ensure safety and quality across the plant.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a production management role in food/agriculture.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with production planning and process optimization.
• Ability to work in an industrial production environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production schedules and efficiency targets.
• Lead, mentor, and develop production staff.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance in the facility.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and boost efficiency.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse for raw materials and inventory.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and service.
• Maintain accurate production KPIs and reporting to management.
