Job summary

Oceanhills is seeking an Event Coordinator to thoughtfully plan, communicate clearly, and execute every church event within budget, creating moments of WOW that welcome and value guests. The role leads staff and volunteers to ensure flawless Sunday experiences and memorable special events across locations.

The Coordinator will manage timelines, budgets, and logistics, collaborate with worship/creative teams, and build a positive, team-oriented environment for volunteers and staff alike.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in event design, planning and coordination.
• Commitment to Jesus follower values and servant leadership.
• Ability to manage budgets and collaborate with volunteers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Sunday Experience activities with welcome and safety emphasis.
• Recruit, train, support, and appreciate the Welcome Team and Security Team.
• Collaborate on Communion elements and stage setup for monthly services.
• Create post-church patio experiences and ensure clear guest signage.
• Develop and follow event timelines, checklists, budgets, and logistics.
• Coordinate special Sundays and all-outdoor/indoor event activities.
• Lead volunteers, delegate tasks, and maintain accountability for success.
• Perform post-event evaluations and capture actionable feedback.
