Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Lifeguard to join the dynamic team at Summit Waves. Responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining constant vigilance of swimmers.
2. Performing actions to save lives and prevent accidents and incidents.
3. Initiating and promoting good water safety habits.
4. Assisting in the operation and maintenance of the assigned aquatics facility.

Applicants must be 15 years of age.
A valid American Red Cross lifeguard certification, along with current Basic First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications, is required. LSPR will provide both certifications upon hire, with training valued at over $350.

This position will be working 20-30 hours a week on various days.
