Job summary

Goddard Riverside Community Center invites applications for Youth Workers in its Beacons program serving NYC students from kindergarten through age 21. You will assist with groups of campers in grades K-8, supporting reading enrichment, social-emotional learning, and field trips.

Schedule runs Monday to Friday, June 22, 2025, to August 14, 11:15am–6:00pm, at an hourly rate of $19. You’ll contribute to a positive, creative environment that fosters social and intellectual growth for all

Qualifications

• Youth Workers assist with groups of co-ed children in grades K-8.
• Engage campers in daily activities, reading enrichment, and field trips.
• Support social-emotional development in a positive, creative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with morning academic enhancement and afternoon enrichment activities.
• Work with campers and use group work practices to support learning.
