Basin Electric Power Cooperative's Dakota Gasification Company location in Beulah, ND, seeks a Summer Student Intern - Vehicle Maintenance to assist Vehicle Maintenance Technicians with repairing plant mobile equipment. The internship runs May 17, 2027 through August 20, 2027 and provides hands-on shop experience.

You must be 18+, enrolled in automotive or diesel program, with freshman year completed or recently completed; minimum GPA 2.5 and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time student in automotive or diesel program, with freshman year completed; or recently completed an automotive or diesel program (within the past 12 months).
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repair and maintenance of plant vehicles and mobile equipment.
• Preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems; general shop duties.
• Repair tires, brakes, windows, doors, A/C, and drive trains; oil changes.
• Support event preparation and cleanup as part of departmental responsibilities.
