Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 and above required.
• Interest in practical, career-related experience within the insurance industry.
• Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Risk Management and Insurance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Train with key team members in underwriting, operations and claims to learn and participate in the Berkley Edge underwriting and claims process.
• Utilize strong analysis skills in accordance with service standards, objectives, and underwriting guidelines.
• Complete a final project incorporating items learned throughout the internship.
• Work independently, both on a remote and potential hybrid-based in-person schedule through the summer months.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to support business partners.
• Participate in the 10-week, paid internship running Monday, June 1, 2026 through Thursday, August 6, 2026.
