Ardurra Group, Inc. in Olympia, WA is seeking a Transportation Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will assist in design and analysis of transportation systems, prepare drawings and reports, and support field data collection under close supervision.

This internship focuses on real-world civil engineering exposure, software usage (MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS) and collaboration with a project team to deliver municipal transportation projects.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related discipline.
Familiarity with Bentley or Autodesk software (MicroStation, OpenRoads, ProjectWise, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, GIS) preferred.
Strong organization, attention to detail and work ethic.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and analysis of transportation infrastructure (roadways, drainage, markings).
Prepare engineering drawings, reports, technical memoranda, and specifications.
Conduct transportation design, modeling, calculations, and quantity take-offs.
Participate in field investigations, data collection, and site inspections.
