Pay: $21.39 per hour

Work Schedule/Work Hours:Up to 30 hours/week; 8-10 hours/day; Monday, Wednesday, Friday

This position is part of the nation's AbilityOne Program. AbilityOne is one of the largest sources of employment for people who are blind or have significant disabilities. Through nonprofit agencies (such as Discover Goodwill), the program provides products and services such as janitorial and commercial laundry. OBJECTIVE:
To operate vehicles in a safe manner necessary in order to support the mission of the organization. Drive the delivery truck, picking up and delivering goods to customers on scheduled routes.
It is preferred that the incumbent have excellent communication skills and demonstrate the ability to interact with the Project Manager, Supervisor, Laundry Workers and customers at the pickup/delivery sites. The Truck Driver must maintain a professional attitude, appropriate hygiene, dress and grooming and be punctual and dependable. Incumbent must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend and stoop at frequent intervals, push and pull carts weighing up to 600 pounds. CLASS B CDL is preferred but not required.
You will work with a team of professionals and help ensure we make the best use of our resources to help achieve our mission. We prefer you are a team player, professional who is willing to "roll up the sleeves!"
