  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and push frequently. Many duties will involve moderate to heavy physical exercise and exertion.

Reports to:

Lead Technician

Job Goal:

To assist the IT department in wiring Chromebook Carts, parting out Chromebooks, take down Projectors and other duties as assigned.

Performance Responsibilities:
  • Wire Chromebook Carts with USB C Power Supplies
  • Disassemble Chromebooks and separate components into separate boxes
  • Remove projectors and Smartboards from classrooms
  • Move Technology around the district
  • Other duties as assigned
Terms of Employment:

Summer technology assistant(s) will be employed for up to twelve weeks after schools have dismissed for the summer (maximum of 480 hours).

Evaluation:

The technology assistant will be evaluated by the immediate supervisor, using the Independence School District Technology Staff Performance Based Evaluation.
