Job summary

Financial Edge is seeking Teaching Assistants to support instructors and participants on entry level programs from interns to associates. Our case-study based training blends live and eLearning formats to deliver practical finance skills.

Teaching assistants join via consultancy agreements and are most engaged during the busy season from June through the end of August. Commitments last one to three weeks and successful applicants must be available full-time during these periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services (banking, consulting or accounting).
• Proficient in financial modeling and valuation methodologies; strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• A passion for finance.
• Good communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Support a lead training instructor in a class of 50-150 new hires.
• Assist students with case studies, individual questions and homework.
• Identify and coach struggling students.
• Invigilate and debrief exams.
• Collate qualitative feedback on participants.
• Provide support and feedback to the Account Management Team.
• Run small group sessions to solve problems of understanding.
• Host evening review sessions independently.
