The Dolins Group, a mid-size growing CPA firm in Northbrook, IL, is seeking a Tax Intern for Summer 2027 to gain hands-on experience in tax planning, compliance, and consulting. You will assist with individual and business returns and work with seasoned CPAs in a collaborative environment.

This onsite internship offers mentorship, real-world tax projects, and opportunities to develop professional communication and analytical skills toward the CPA path.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and filing of individual and business tax returns.
• Perform special projects.
• Support senior staff with tax planning and advisory services.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting with a path to taking the CPA exam (we prefer those who are entering their junior or senior year)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
