Job summary

Pape-Dawson is seeking Survey Interns in Georgia for Summer 2027. Locations include Marietta, Newnan, Canton, Duluth, and Calhoun. Interns will collaborate with field staff, CAD technicians, civil engineers, and licensed land surveyors to assist in developing land surveys.

Responsibilities include using AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare boundary and topographic surveys, processing field data, and creating plans and survey base mapping, with QA checks and fieldwork as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in or recent graduate of an accredited program in Surveying, Geospatial Sciences, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and critical thinking required

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare boundary and topographic surveys
• Process, extract, and analyze field survey data
• Collaborate with project surveyors and project managers to create plans and survey base mapping
• Perform quality assurance and standards checks on projects
• Field work including site inspections and research as needed
• Additional related duties as needed
