Job summary

Divergent is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern for a 12-week summer program in 2027. The role offers hands-on experience across procurement, planning, logistics, and inventory management within a cutting-edge manufacturing environment.

You will work with Production, Engineering, and Program Management teams to ensure material flow aligns with schedules, with opportunities to contribute to optimization initiatives and cost-saving projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis; experience with ERP or MRP systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in procurement activities, including issuing purchase orders, managing supplier communications, and tracking deliveries.
• Support supply chain planning and scheduling to align material availability with production timelines.
• Help monitor inventory levels and support cycle counts, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to logistics coordination, including inbound and outbound shipping, freight tracking, and documentation.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards are met.
• Participate in process improvement projects to enhance efficiency, cost savings, and scalability.
