The summer laborers are utilized to cover the summer months to provide overtime relief for the permanent employees and cover for vacations. The hourly wage begins at $26.32/hr., but employees receive the rate of the job they are performing, which allows for earning a higher rate.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: unitizing product, assisting with setups, adjusting and operating equipment which cuts, folds, stacks, and prints sheets of corrugated to designated sizes. Once the machine is set up and operating correctly, the employee is responsible for safely monitoring the product to ensure quality and unitizing the bundles exiting the conveyor. Individuals with mobile equipment experience may be trained, certified, and utilized for providing product to the converting machines.
