Job summary

JQOL is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for the summer to support the structural engineering team with project design and construction documents, providing hands-on experience in a professional setting.

You will assist with preparing plans and details, supporting calculations and reports, and reviewing drawings, while learning about structural systems and construction materials alongside engineers and design professionals.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in structural engineering, building systems, and construction.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of structural engineering plans, details, and construction documents.
• Support structural calculations, engineering reports, and project research.
• Assist with reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.

• Assist with project coordination and work alongside engineers and other design professionals.
