Job Summary

Seeking a fast-paced role to gain valuable customer service and organizational skills? Food Service provides hands-on experience in a large-scale operation, making a real impact. From meal prep to guest interaction, you'll be part of a team serving thousands daily in a Christian environment. Roles include kitchen work and managing buffet lines, developing skills useful for any future career.

  • Back of House (BOH): Learn food prep, catering, baking, and cooking while feeding thousands of guests.
  • Front of House (FOH): Interact with guests by managing buffet lines, stocking food, and answering questions.

Essential Job Duties

  • Preparing and serving food to over 2,000 guests multiple times daily
  • Managing food lines, including stocking, refilling, handling dietary plates, and cleaning
  • Cooking and food preparation such as grilling, frying, baking, boiling, and chopping, using industrial equipment
  • Cleaning trays, plates, bowls, cups, and silverware after meals, operating large dishwashers
  • Making accommodations for dietary restrictions and communicating needs between FOH and BOH
  • Working with food throughout the day in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Physical Requirements

  • Lift, carry, push/pull 50 lbs
  • Perform repetitive motions like climbing stairs, reaching, stooping, kneeling
  • Stand or walk up to 8 hours
  • Work in heat, humidity, noise, wet floors, and cold conditions
