Job summary

PIMCO is seeking a Summer Intern - Technology Analyst in Austin, TX to work with our Technology team on cutting-edge software engineering projects during an 10-week program.

You will collaborate with engineers, investment professionals and analytics teams, gain hands-on experience with AI-powered tools, and receive mentorship and relocation support as you prepare for a possible full-time role.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering or similar
• Must be able to begin full-time at the Austin PIMCO office between Jan 2028 – Aug 2028
• Must be enrolled during Fall 2027
• GPA 3.5+ (on a 4.0 scale)
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)

Responsibilities

• Develop cutting-edge software and deliver value-add tools
