Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Huntsville is seeking a 2027 Summer Intern pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Systems Engineering. You will join a multi-company engineering team supporting the Modeling and Simulation Vistas program for the Missile Defense Agency.

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in related engineering discipline - Aerospace, Computer Science, Electrical (RF especially), & Systems are most common, but other related engineering fields are welcome.
Working knowledge of a programming language - MATLAB, Python, etc.
Highly Motivated, willing to take on challenging assignments and learn about the Nation's Ballistic Missile Defense System

Responsibilities

Contribute to Modeling and Simulations - Sensors, Missiles, Command and Control
Assist in Performance analysis and Software tooling
Support System requirements development and Test verification
