Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a summer intern Systems Engineer. You will participate in design, development, integration, and testing of new capabilities for several DoD products and technologies.

You will use models of real-world weapons, radars, and C2 systems, addressing defects and decomposing problems to formulate solutions. The role requires Python/MATLAB scripting knowledge, strong root cause analysis skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative team; US

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent STEM field.
• Basic knowledge of root cause analysis, problem solving skills, and statistical analysis.
• Basic knowledge in scripting languages such as Python and/or MATLAB.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
