Job summary

RESPEC in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Student Software Engineering Intern for our Summer 2025 program. This temporary part-time role supports our Data and Technology teams by assisting with coding, planning, testing, and data analysis under the guidance of mentors.

You will work on real-world projects, gain exposure to software development life cycle, and learn cutting-edge technologies while contributing to client solutions.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited technical school or college studying toward a degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Software development knowledge gained through coursework or job experience.
• Exposure to needs analysis, development, and deployment of software applications.

Responsibilities

• Assisting project teams with coding, planning, and quality control.
• Collaborating with mentors to support software development projects.
• Assisting in data analysis/entry and administrative project tasks.
• Participating in test and debugging activities.
• Helping identify process improvements within the team.
• Supporting software update releases and deployments.
• Participating in root-cause analysis for issues in production environments.
