Job summary

Ibotta invites a Software Engineering Intern to contribute to real-world challenges and learn within a mission-driven team in Denver. This 12-week, summer internship blends hands-on work with teach-outs to build skills for transitioning into the workforce.

The role is hybrid with three in-office days per week (Tue-Thu) and requires living in the United States. Compensation is provided at $33.85/hour, with housing assistance for out-of-state students.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or a related field and eager to learn.
• Exposure to multiple languages and modern web frameworks is expected.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Learn about Ibotta’s software development process and best practices.
• Join a cross-functional team to design, develop and release features.
• Create well-tested software and participate in code reviews.
• Work with AWS infrastructure and cloud services daily.
• Contribute to system designs and CI/CD improvements.
• Apply AI tools to prototype and assist with development decisions.
