Job summary

SpaceX seeks extraordinary students to join us for silicon hardware engineering roles in Summer 2027. As a silicon engineering intern, you will work closely with your mentor and other world-class cross-disciplinary teams to apply your knowledge and grow your skills, working on our custom in-house silicon and hardware that is deployed on-orbit.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate program.
• 3+ months of software development, hardware engineering, or chip design/development experience.
• Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national, a U.S. lawful permanent resident, a refugee, or an asylee per ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with mentors and cross-disciplinary teams to apply hardware and software skills.
• Contribute to silicon hardware engineering projects for SpaceX's in-house silicon and hardware deployed on-orbit.
• Participate in networking and professional development trainings and attend company events.
