Job summary

Blackstone Infrastructure is seeking a Summer Senior Associate to support the flagship fund and BXINFRA deal teams. You will participate in due diligence, modeling, and deal execution alongside industry-leading executives.

The role involves leading portions of the transaction process, coordinating with management teams, and mentoring junior staff. Applicants are MBA students with an anticipated Spring 2028 graduation and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent communication abilities and teamwork.
• Prior experience in private equity is preferred.
• Infrastructure investing experience is not a prerequisite.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of deal execution, including identification and screening of opportunities, investment evaluation, financial analyses, deal structuring and acquisition financing, and legal documentation
• Perform extensive due diligence, including thesis development, leading discussions with management teams, coordinating with various advisors and other key stakeholders, and executing investment theses and business plans
• Prepare and discuss transaction materials with BIP’s Investment Committee, which includes the most senior members of Blackstone
• Manage a team of world-class junior investment professionals
• Work alongside portfolio company management teams, Blackstone’s Portfolio Operations team & Senior Advisors in managing current investments, including analyzing potential add-on investments, refinancing opportunities, and exit opportunities
• Contribute to culture, group-building, and strategic initiatives for a fast-growing investment platform at Blackstone
