SUMMER SEASONAL MAINTENANCE GROUNDSKEEPER POSITION

OAKWOOD LEISURE (PARKS AND RECREATIONAL) DEPARTMENT

The City of Oakwood is accepting applications for the summer seasonal Maintenance Groundskeeper position in the Parks and Recreational Department. The seasonal position has variable and flexible work hours and may pay up to $15.90 per hour.

MAINTENANCE GROUNDSKEEPER:

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain the landscape at City Boulevards, Smith Gardens, which include but are not limited to mowing, trimming, planting, and weeding.
• Maintain natural areas and parks and perform all duties as assigned.
• Work hours are 40 hours a week during the summer season.

Minimum Requirement:

• Eighteen (18) years old.

Compensation: The current pay range is $12.72 – $15.90 per hour, depending on experience and knowledge.
