$18.50/hr - $20.25/hr

Overview

The YMCA of Northern Colorado is hiring a Summer Seasonal Head Lifeguard. You will serve as the friendly hawk that keeps our members safe and our aquatics team on the ball.Â

Schedule can include up to 28 hours per week during the year and up to 40 hours per week during summers.

Salary range: $18.50-20.25/hour depending on experience and availability. In addition, we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English.

You handle complaints and criticism with grace and charm, and you know when to communicate with the aquatic's leadership about problems and concerns. Basically, you like people and you want to help them
• You are an awesome Lifeguard. It's OK, you can brag. You are good. Real good. You not only have all your certifications and years on the stand, but you possibly even have some management or leadership experience.Â

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Current ARC/YMCA Lifeguard, First Aid, and CPR-PR Certifications
• Current Oxygen Administration Certification
• Blood Borne Pathogens within 30 days of being hired
• New Staff Orientation within 30 days of being hired
