Job summary

Kids Science Labs, a hands-on science program in Chicago, seeks educators for its Summer Camp. You will teach hands-on discovery science to groups of students, co-teaching to foster curiosity and problem solving in a fun setting.

Qualifications

• Must be available for August.
• Enjoy engaging and adapting to children.
• Ability to manage or help manage a classroom.
• BS/BA degree completed or in progress (preferably related fields).
• Positive attitude and a smile.

Responsibilities

• Teach a hands-on discovery science class to up to 20 students with a co-teacher.
• Lead two elective sessions in art, critical thinking, and general science.
• Promote engagement, curiosity and problem solving in a progressive classroom.
• Support learning and exploration with a team of teachers.
