Brief Description of Duties:

Middle School Summer School, grades 6-8. Focus on project-based learning, emphasizing concepts and skills necessary for success in math. Skills in cooperative learning, differentiated instruction, collaborative teaming, formative assessment, positive behavior management, and motivation are preferred. Teachers are expected to utilize instructional pedagogy as espoused by the district. Teachers will collaborate to create curricula for summer school.

Program Duration:

July 7, 2025 – August 21, 2025

Curriculum Writing:

July 7 – July 10

Instructional Dates:

July 14 – August 7 (subject to change)

Instructional Hours:

Monday – Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Regents Exams:

August 19 – 21 (if needed)
