Job summary

The Archdiocese of St. Louis is seeking a dependable Summer Maintenance Worker for the Immaculate Conception School to help prepare classrooms and grounds for the upcoming school year.

The role supports the school’s mission by keeping facilities clean, organized, and welcoming for students, families, faculty, and staff. The position involves custodial tasks, deep cleaning, furniture moves, and basic maintenance, requiring reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Move, arrange, and set up classroom, office, and school furniture.
• Deep clean classrooms, hallways, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Organize storage rooms, supplies, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare classrooms and learning environments for students and teachers.
• Assist with minor maintenance, painting, repairs, and improvement projects.
• Set up and break down equipment, furnishings, and materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow school safety procedures and guidelines.
• Interact with faculty, staff, parish members and visitors professionally.
