Principal Asset Management invites you to join its Sales Internship Program (Summer 2027) in Des Moines, IA. As a Sales Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting advisors and brokerage offices while learning Salesforce and sales fundamentals.

We offer a $24/hour base rate, with a $4,000 lump-sum internship stipend designed to cover incidental expenses, and potential opportunities to pursue Life/Health licenses.

Qualifications

Undergraduate or graduate student status or completed degree.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Interest in a career in sales and ability to build relationships.
Sales experience preferred.
Experience with Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide sales support through phone interaction with advisors and brokerage offices.
Assist in prospecting new sources of business while learning how to utilize Salesforce.
Partner with and shadow sales teams in every US territory.
Perform basic reporting tasks related to sales performance.
Assist with special projects assigned.
Contribute to a fun and creative team culture embracing new ideas daily.
