Job summary

Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a 2027 Summer Internship in Sales to gain broad exposure across merchandising, marketing, and distribution. The intern will collaborate with multiple teams, participate in trainings and events, and support various sales functions while developing professional skills.

Ideal candidates are juniors in college, pursuing BS/BA in relevant fields, with a minimum 2.0 GPA, strong communication, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Reside in the vicinity of the internship or can obtain housing
• Must be a Junior in college and graduating the following semester or year
• Must be at least 21 years of age at the start of the internship
• Maintain at a minimum a 2.0 GPA
• Teamwork approach to accomplishing goals
• Ability to organize and manage multiple projects
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to secure and maintain a valid driver’s license and auto-liability insurance in accordance with state laws

Responsibilities

• Work with a variety of teams to become familiar in all aspects of the Sales Divisions
• Support the Sales departments including Category Management and Distribution Warehouse Sales
• Participate in training, on-site meetings, and department-wide learning opportunities
• Participate in the setup, working off and tear down of any special events or tastings
• Assist with On-Premise Surveys
• Support the team with additional projects as assigned
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
