Job summary

Regal Rexnord Corp invites energetic students to join a hands-on Business Development Sales Intern program in Downers Grove, IL. The 11-week, onsite internship includes rotations across Inside Sales, Field Sales, Customer Service, and Commercial Excellence with hands-on projects and product training.

You will complete customer engagements, perform market analyses, and support CRM and reporting while developing professional skills and a network of industry contacts.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week during the internship period.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivating with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and stay organized.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to be located in Downers Grove, IL for the duration of the internship.
• Willingness to travel locally as required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in business-impacting work experiences across multiple functions of the sales organization to build an understanding of products, applications, customers, and industry trends.
• Complete a minimum of 40 hours of customer-facing engagements and observation.
• Lead a sales-focused project that delivers measurable business value; define project objectives and scope, perform research and analysis on the project focus area(s), and develop recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Deliver a final presentation summarizing project recommendations, outcomes and key learnings.
• Conduct market research, perform territory and sales analyses, and execute account development activities.
• Support CRM management, opportunity tracking, quoting processes, and sales reporting.
• Assist with customer engagement, sales activities, and account growth initiatives.
• Complete product training, technical learning engagements, and professional development activities.
• Participate in networking and mentorship opportunities and establish a professional network of key contacts.
• Maintain a weekly reflection journal and complete self-assessments.
