Job summary

KWS SAAT SE, a leading plant breeding company, is seeking a Summer 2027 Sales Intern to support the Great Lakes Regional manager in promoting ACH Seeds / Crystal Brand Sugarbeet Seed within the Michigan Sugar growing market.

The role involves field activities, coordinating with ISAs, organizing giveaways and events, and assisting with agronomic trials and field visits across Michigan. Interns gain exposure to sales operations and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an agricultural discipline in the Michigan beet growing area.
• Strong oral and written communications skills are required.
• Skilled in using computer hardware and software including Microsoft Office and social media.
• Reliable personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Great Lakes Regional manager in promoting ACH Seeds / Crystal Brand Sugarbeet Seed.
• Travel to the Shakopee location and interact with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with Independent Sales Agents (ISAs) and organize field events.
• Assist in field trials, stand counts, soil and tissue sampling, and data organization.
• Support sugarbeet trials and cooperation field activities in Michigan.
• Assist with field sign placement, material distribution, and ISA coordination.
• Attend and help with county fairs and local festivals.
