Job summary
Worlds of Fun LLC in Kansas City invites applicants for a seasonal Ride Operator role. Qualifications
- Minimum age 16
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Friendly, energetic, and professional attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to lift 40-50 lbs and push up to 30 lbs
- Reliable attendance and willingness to follow procedures
Responsibilities
- Assist guests with safely loading and unloading rides
- Check safety restraints and ensure guests meet ride requirements
- Operate ride controls when assigned
- Monitor rides while they are in motion to ensure guest safety
- Explain ride safety rules and procedures to guests
- Help maintain a clean and organized ride area
- Follow Worlds of Fun safety procedures and Guest-First service standards
- Work as part of a team to keep rides running smoothly
- Assist with other duties as needed by ride leadership
