Job summary

GROWMARK, Inc. in Bloomington, IL is seeking a Retail Accounting Intern for the Summer of 2027. You will train and assist with account reconciliations, preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgeting initiatives, and opportunities to automate processes.

Must be pursuing an Accounting or Finance degree at a 4-year university in good academic standing. The internship runs at least 12 weeks, with orientation events in Bloomington, IL, and travel to mandatory meetings.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing an Accounting or Finance degree at a 4-year university in good academic standing at the time the internship begins.
• Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
• Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Account reconciliations.
• Preparation and analysis of financial reports/dashboards.
• Process documentation/automation opportunities.
• Annual budget process/forecasting initiatives that arise.
• Reconciliation standardization, such as bank, credit card, and general ledger (GL).
• Other project work as assigned.
