Job summary

Newport Hotel Group at the North Conway Grand Hotel in New Hampshire is seeking energetic Resort Workers for the summer to fall season. Enjoy a $20 per hour wage with 35 guaranteed hours per week and no prior hotel experience required—full training is provided.

Join a multicultural team at a scenic four-season resort and gain real-world hospitality experience. English is used daily with guests and colleagues in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled university student, aged 18-25.
• Approved participant of the Work & Travel USA (J-1) program.
• Conversational English - you'll interact with guests daily.
• Available from summer through fall.
• Friendly, reliable, punctual and ready to work as part of a team.
• Physically able to be on your feet and handle active resort duties.
• Flexible with schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and service guest rooms and public areas to high resort standards.
• Assist front-of-house with guest requests, check-ins and information.
• Support food & beverage operations—setting tables, bussing, serving and light prep.
• Help with banquets, weddings and conference events hosted at the hotel.
• Maintain pool, fitness and recreation areas so guests can enjoy them safely.
• Working as part of a multicultural team and communicating in English with guests and colleagues.
