Job summary

The Veterinary Entomology Laboratory in the Entomology Department at Penn State invites applications for Summer Research Support Technologists. Responsibilities

• Assist with field and laboratory studies related to ticks and wildlife.
• Involve rodent trapping (mice and squirrels) and tick dragging, environmental assessments, and deer/horse tick studies.
• Perform data entry, sample handling, and restocking supplies; may work in challenging outdoor conditions (sun, rain, uneven terrain).
