Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is offering an 8-week Intern, RD Graduate Summer position in Nonlinear Mechanics and Dynamics (NOMAD). The role is onsite and involves working on summer research projects with a team of interns and mentors, culminating in a final seminar.

Qualifications

Earned bachelor's degree.
Currently attending and enrolled full time in the spring term immediately preceding the internship (or scheduled to graduate in the spring) in an accredited science, engineering, or math graduate program.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer.
Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

Contribute to summer research projects within NOMAD with a team of interns and mentors.
Present a final seminar on your project results.
