Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a Summer 2027 Research Analyst Intern in Houston, TX. You will work on long-term market forecasts for the chemical industry, support data updates, and contribute to model development in a collaborative global team.

The role is hybrid, based in Houston, and requires at least two years toward a Bachelor's degree with strong Excel skills and business English proficiency. Familiarity with Python or SQL/MongoDB is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed at least two years toward a Bachelor's degree, preferably in chemical engineering, chemistry, or related field.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluency in English, written and spoken at a business level.
• Experience in Python or familiarity with other languages/ tools like R, SQL and MongoDB, desired.

Responsibilities

• Participate in data and content updates and publications together with global team members
• Provide support in gathering and auditing of input and output data
• Help with the creation and set up of internal models and client deliverables
