Job summary

Schreiber Foods, Inc. in Beloit, WI is seeking engineering interns for Summer 2026 to gain hands-on experience in a food manufacturing environment.

The paid internship offers exposure to reliability and maintenance projects, with responsibilities across multiple engineering areas. Interns must be enrolled as students during the internship, be able to relocate for Summer 2026, and commit to at least 10 weeks at 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Sophomore-level status or higher toward a BS degree in an Engineering or Engineering Technology program (Electrical, Automation, Mechanical, Chemical, Engineering Physics or Manufacturing preferred).
• Students must be enrolled as student during the time of the internship (Recent or previous graduates will not be considered).
• Willingness to relocate for Summer of 2026.
• Ability to work a minimum of 10 weeks during the Summer of 2026.
• Ability to work 40 hours/week during the summer.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Interest in pursuing a full-time career in the areas listed above.
• Ability to take ownership of assignments and complete them on time and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Reliability Engineering: Participate in helping implement strategies to enhance the reliability and lifespan of equipment and systems.
• Interpret failure data and coordinate initiatives to reduce downtime.
• Work with maintenance teams to create predictive maintenance schedules.
