Job summary

Heitman is seeking rising seniors to join our 2027 Summer Internship Program in the Acquisitions department. You will work on live projects, gain experience in real estate investment processes, and collaborate with teams across the firm in a fast-paced environment.

As an intern, you will participate in immersive onboarding, capstone projects, and networking with senior executives. This hands-on program is based in our Chicago office and offers practical exposure to deal analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• Rising senior at a US college/university.
• Pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related majors.
• Strong project and time management skills.
• Collaborates across departments.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.

• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist Acquisitions with investor reporting and analysis.
• Contribute to pro forma cash flow projections.
• Participate in capstone project with cohort.
• Support due diligence and deal coordinating activities.
