Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories’ Computer Science Research Institute (CSRI) seeks several students for the summer R&D graduate intern roles. You will participate in collaborative research across computer science, applied mathematics, discrete mathematics, AI, HPC, and related fields at the Livermore, CA laboratory.

Qualifications

• Earned bachelor's degree.
• Currently attending and enrolled full time in the spring term immediately preceding the internship (or scheduled to graduate in the spring).
• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0.
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer.
• Authorization to work in the United States; no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Research and development activities (review techniques, seek new approaches, develop computing solutions).
• Develop algorithms and software for the research area.
• Run simulation codes.
• Collaborate with Sandia staff involved in the research area.
• Develop publication of analysis.
• Present results to the research group.
