Job summary

Flow Traders in New York is offering a Summer 2027 Trading Internship for students eager to learn how a fast-paced trading floor operates. The nine-week program runs from early June to early August at our New York office, with hands-on projects, trading simulations, and mentoring from industry leaders.

Participants develop quantitative skills, test strategies with real-time data, and collaborate with Traders and Quantitative Researchers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, STEM, Economics, or related fields in the United States.
• Class of 2028, preferred
• Demonstrable interest in trading and global financial markets
• Strong mental math, quantitative and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Excel and programming or development languages
• Ability to think quickly and work under pressure
• Entrepreneurial and competitive mindset
• Team-oriented, fast-paced environment with challenges and rewards

Responsibilities

• Learn directly from industry leaders on the New York trading floor
• Participate in structured educational courses and hands-on trading simulations
• Develop and test trading strategies using quantitative models and trading tools
• Collaborate with Traders and Quantitative Researchers on real-world trading challenges
• Gain in-depth exposure to Flow Traders’ core business and market-making activities
