Job summary

Chicago Trading Company (CTC) is seeking a Quant Trading (QT) Intern for an 8-week summer program in Chicago. You will mirror a full-time Quant Trading Associate, gain hands-on trading experience, and collaborate with traders, quants, developers, and risk managers. Expect classroom sessions, mentorship, and networking with CTC professionals.

You will graduate 2027–2028 and relocate to Chicago for the summer; housing is provided with meals, and there is a signing bonus as part of compensation.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree; expected graduation 2027–2028.
Willing to relocate to Chicago for the summer.
No prior finance experience required, but a strong curiosity to learn about finance and trading.

Responsibilities

Work in an impactful role mirroring a full-time Quant Trading Associate.
Gain hands-on experience with trading and exposure to our trading technology.
Have weekly one-on-one meetings with your manager to review progress.
Receive mentorship from members of our trading and/or quant teams.
Experience a culture of teamwork and collaboration through education and social activities.
