The Upper Main Line YMCA is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Swim Coach to deliver a high-quality, safe, and competitive swim team program for all swimming levels.

What You’ll Do
  • Create and conduct swim practices as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Assist other coaching staff in supporting practices, meets and other team activities, keeping the program goals in mind.
  • Maintain records as required (attendance, progress reports, etc.)
  • Actively promote YMCA Character Development and Core Values.
  • Present a professional image at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What You'll Need
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Competitive swimming experience or swim instruction experience highly preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate swim stroke techniques
  • Obtain and maintain all new hires certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire
  • Any additional certifications as required by the YMCA or USA Swimming
