Job summary

Upper Chichester Township's Public Works Department is accepting applications for seasonal, temporary summer help. Responsibilities include grass cutting, street maintenance, trash removal and related tasks to support maintenance crews.

Applicants must be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license. The work week is typically Mon-Fri with some overtime possible during peak season.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old at time of application.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist crews with grass cutting, weed whacking, tree trimming, branch chipping, excavating, watering, and tree removals.
• Assist with sign fabrication, posting, pothole patching and street repairs.
• Assist with catch basin repairs and storm sewer cleaning.
• Perform minor equipment maintenance: washing, waxing, vacuuming, cleaning and lubricating.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks: floor sweeping, window cleaning, site weeding and event support.
• Other duties as assigned by Public Works Director.
