Job summary

Covestro Baytown Site is seeking a dynamic Project Controls Intern for a 3‑month Summer 2027 assignment (late May–early August). You will support cost management, scheduling, and reporting to drive safety, reliability and efficiency of production units.

You will gain hands-on experience with project controls activities, including cost tracking, schedule development, and performance reporting while receiving coaching from seasoned professionals on real capital projects.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program with a major in Construction Management, Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial), or a related field.
• Completion of Junior year.
• Overall GPA of 3.0.

Responsibilities

• Support capital project execution through cost tracking and scheduling activities.
• Assist with cost and schedule forecasts and reporting.
• Contribute to change control processes and project close-out activities.
• Support EVM and risk tracking within an operating chemical plant environment.
• Collaborate with project teams to improve project outcomes at the Baytown site.
