Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) offers a 10- to 12-week Internship Program designed to expose students to CEI's core markets: Commercial, Data Center, and Energy & Renewables.

While headquartered in California, CEI has major projects and offices across several states, including Ohio, Iowa, Wisconsin, New Mexico, and Utah. Interns will gain hands-on experience on real-world projects with project managers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current student studying Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Estimate Phase: create bid strategy, gather quotations, and write proposal letters.
• Pre-Construction: negotiate terms, create budget and schedule, coordinate with production team, select subcontractors.
• Construction: manage materials, submittals, change orders, maintain logs, oversee vendors and subcontractors, issue RFIs and notices.
• Closeout: manage closeout documents, commission equipment, return excess material.
