Job summary

A community education organization is seeking a Summer Instructor Lead to oversee youth recreation programs. This part-time, temporary position is from June 3 until August 31, 2026, with scheduled hours as needed. The ideal candidate will be at least 16 years of age and possess a desire to build relationships with youth. Responsibilities include leading curriculum implementation, overseeing staff, and ensuring positive experiences for participants. Pay ranges from $16.10 to $17.45 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Attend staff training the evening of June 3rd.
• Lead the administration of the established curriculum.
• Oversee program staff and quality of the program.
• Implement the disciplinary action plan as needed.
• Engage throughout the program, enhancing skill development.
• Communicate with parents/guardians as needed.
