AcuFast is inviting motivated college students to join our Production Internship focused on Wean-to-Finish Genetics across Illinois sites. You will gain hands-on experience in sustainable pig production, data collection, and genetic integrity, with potential for full-time employment after graduation.

The program emphasizes biosecurity, on-farm testing, and collaboration with company leaders to deliver high standards of animal care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• College student with interest in agriculture and production.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Follow biosecurity protocols and training.
• Assist with wean-to-finish production routines and animal movements.
• Learn genetic lines and participate in on-farm data collection (including ultrasound).
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the Quality Management System and complete a summer project.
